Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, will showcase its latest industrial computers at UKIVA Machine Vision Conference (MVC) & Exhibition 2024, Coventry. Situated in the embedded vision section, booth B1, Neousys will have on display its groundbreaking flattop heatsink computers designed for machine vision applications where the computer can be situated in a sealed cabinet or confined space, away from contaminants. Also at the show is the winner of the Control Engineering Product of the Year Silver Award, POC-700, an ultra-compact computer.
The flattop heatsink utilizes conduction for passive heat dissipation. Neousys’ new flattop heatsink computers are designed to be installed onto cabinet walls to conduct heat to the outer surface to and maintain optimum operating temperature. The design allows users to mount the computer inside a sealed enclosure to aid metal, wood, food, and chemical processing, where it can be protected from environment contaminants such as dust, metal particles or fluid. Benefiting from Intel® 14th/13th/12th-Gen Core™ CPU (Nuvo-9531-FT) or NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX (NRU-150-FT series), the computers offer up to 100 TOPS AI computation. The built-in full-bandwidth ports provide camera connectivity for IP cameras and industrial GigE cameras, making them ideal for machine vision applications.
As the winner of Control Engineering Product of the Year Silver Award, Neousys’ POC-700, is one of the industry’s first Intel® Core i ultra-compact fanless embedded computer. POC-700 features Intel® Alder Lake i3-N305 processor to deliver exceptional performance for a wide range of industrial applications. Supporting a wide temperature operating range from -25°C to 70°C, wide DC input range of 12V-35V, and compliance with UL certification, it is the ideal IoT intelligent getaway for machine automation applications.
“Machine vision applications can be found across various of industries, and Neousys addresses these needs with a comprehensive range of edge AI computers. Ranging from ultra compact dimensions to expandable box PCs, the systems offer developers great flexibility when designing solutions for various industrial environments.,” said Robert Chang, Sales Manager at Neousys Technology.
