Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems has been invited to attend the Innovation and Multi-function Hall opening ceremony at the Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency Hutoshan Innovation Hub hosted by the Department of Economic Development, Taoyuan on January 13th, 2021. The event showcases various innovations, including Neousys Technology’s platform-driven autonomous vehicles operated by Kingwaytek Technology’s Self-driving Vehicles Training and Developing Center. The innovation showcase time will be from 11:35-11:50 am.
The Hutoshan Innovation Hub is the first research and development center to merge Self-driving Vehicles Training and Developing Center and IoT Cyber Security Center. The aim is to connect and accelerate the development of the northern Taiwan vehicle electronics supply chain by providing a multi-scenario simulated environment and state-of-the-art AI deep learning facility to develop intelligent and innovative traffic management technologies. Arising from the development, there are autonomous shuttle vehicles in trial operations at Dan-hai New Town, Taoyuan International Airport and Changhua Coastal Industrial Park. To uplift tourism and transportation, the second half of the development plan has been submitted to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for evaluation.
Of the showcases, Neousys Technology will have on display their in-vehicle computer that is implemented in the Self-driving Vehicles Training and Developing Center vehicles, acting as the central core processing and control unit. Through sensors, LIDARs, inference and large-scale AI deep learning pipelines, a level 4 autonomous capability can be achieved. In addition, Neousys Technology will have at hand their latest edge AI platform supporting eight GMSL car cameras that feature low-latency, excellent light-sensitivity, 3-time exposure HDR and IP67 waterproof characteristics, an ideal complement to UGV, ADAS and V2X intelligent-drive applications.
Neousys Technology is dedicated to the research and development of autonomous in-vehicle computers. By implementing AI inference technology into rugged embedded computers to realize AI industrialization, Neousys’ in-vehicle platforms are favored by world-renowned autonomous vehicle technology developers. They can be found in Baidu Apollo, an open-source autonomous driving technology; in Industrial Technology Research Institute’s Connected Autonomous Driving Vehicle Solution, Surrounding Sensing Subsystem (S3); and in the Institute for Information Industry’s III ITS DAY 2020 – Digital Transformation of Intelligent Transport, a collaboration between private and public sectors, and various other in-vehicle equipment manufacturers to aid in the intelligent digital transition of the domestic transportation system.
