Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, announced its Nuvo-9160GC, an Intel’s 14th-Gen edge AI platform, now supports an NVIDIA® RTX™ GPU card up to 150W. Engineered for demanding industrial AI and vision applications, the system delivers exceptional CPU and GPU performance in a rugged, compact form factor ideal for edge deployments.
By supporting a 150W GPU, Nuvo-9160GC extends the performance ceiling for edge AI systems, allowing the deployment of higher-tier GPUs for intensive workloads such as deep learning inference, 3D vision analysis, and autonomous robotics. To accommodate the increased GPU power, the system adopts a thermal design featuring an enhanced airflow structure and a patented Cassette module that segregates CPU and GPU heat zones. Combined with industrial-grade components and a wide operating temperature range of –25°C to 60°C, it ensures sustained reliability even under full 150 W GPU load.
Equipped with rich I/O connectivity, including multiple Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.x ports, the platform supports multi-camera setups and various sensor interfaces. With flexible power input (8–48 V DC) and reinforced mechanical design for anti-vibration performance, the Neousys edge AI platform delivers unmatched reliability and GPU computing capability for applications in industrial automation, intelligent transportation, robotics, and vision-based inspection.
“We’ve upgraded the Nuvo-9160GC platform to support up to 150W GPU cards, enabling even greater AI inference and visual computing performance at the edge,” said Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology. “By combining an Intel® CPU with enhanced thermal and power designs, Nuvo-9160GC now delivers a more balanced and powerful CPU/GPU performance for complex computer vision, AI inspection, and intelligent automation applications across factories, logistics, and robotics.”
