Neousys’ Edge AI systems have been used for an autonomous flight project. A Neousys customer uses Nuvo-7166GC to implement real-time data collection, AI inference and precise control of small aircraft. Since small airplanes have historically been less reliable than their large counterparts, the customer’s goal is to develop system solutions which establish industry standards as well as gain civilian trust in autonomous vehicles.

It also provides rich I/O connectivity to support data and sensory capabilities during autonomous flight. 

Neousys Edge AI computers can also be used on small private airplanes to re-triangulate the plane’s position for safe landing in near-blind weather conditions, thereby reducing the number of weather-related accidents for small airplanes.
