Seaport Automation

Neousys computers can be used for crane automation as well as Intelligent Guided Vehicles (IGV). When cranes can be controlled remotely to offload cargo ship containers, the operators can save time and are ensured safe working conditions as they do not need to be in the hazardous zone. Crane automation also allows the company to save on work hires, as do IGVs

Rather than requiring multiple people to drive the cargo containers to their destinations, IGVs can pick up, drive, and offload containers with the help of cameras, sensors, lidars and radars. IGVs can also track the onloading and offloading of each container, which helps increase efficiency and thereby allows companies to reach their productivity goals faster.

Imagery Recognition & Automation for Cargo Ports

Neousys machine vision systems can be used for plate/number verification at cargo ports and terminals. When container-carrying trucks are entering and/or leaving the area, the machine vision platform scans and verifies the truck’s license plate as well as the container’s number. The system can determine if the truck and container match and activate the boom gate accordingly. This allows cargo shipments to go through the ports/terminals around the clock. Imagery recognition and automation keeps laborers safe and increases efficiency.
