Neousys Technology, a leading provider of rugged embedded computers, today announced the POC-900, an ultra-compact DIN-rail embedded computer based on the AMD\u00ae Ryzen\u2122 PRO 8640U processor with an integrated Ryzen\u2122 AI NPU. Compared to its predecessor, POC-900 offers up to 2.7\u00d7 higher CPU performance and enhanced on-device AI capability, while providing expanded industrial connectivity for applications such as industrial automation, edge AI, and machine vision.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Powered by the AMD\u00ae Ryzen\u2122 PRO 8640U, POC-900 delivers up to 2.7\u00d7 higher CPU performance compared to the previous generation. The integrated Ryzen\u2122 AI NPU enables on-device AI inference for low-latency processing in machine vision, industrial control, and edge computing workloads.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The system supports -25\u00b0C to 70\u00b0C fanless operation with a 15W TDP configuration. For applications requiring higher performance processors, an optional fan kit allows operation at up to 30W TDP in industrial environments.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Despite its compact size, POC-900 integrates four PoE+ GbE Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 ports, and isolated digital I\/O for direct interfacing with cameras, sensors, and industrial equipment. It also features Neousys’ MezIO\u00ae expansion interface, enabling modular add-ons such as additional LAN, USB, COM, DIO, or ignition control. This combination of built-in I\/O and modular expansion offers configuration flexibility for inspection systems, factory automation, and mobile robotics.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
